The fifth annual TEDxAnchorage is happening Saturday, March 29 in Anchorage. This free community event will be held downstairs at the Z.J. Loussac Library (3600 Denali Street). Talks start at noon and last until 7 p.m.


TEDxAnchorage conference convenes businesses and individuals to share ideas, technologies, design, and education to help create a more robust Anchorage. This TEDx is an independently organized event, licensed by TED, a nonprofit organization devoted to ‘ideas worth spreading.’ This year’s Anchorage speakers will include Drew Dudley, Calesia Monroe, Mary Elizabeth Ryder, Gabrielle Whitfield, Geoff Welch, Josh Shaner, Stella Gizont, Chris Grgich, Elisiva Maka, Leah Boltz, Linda Klein and a performance by Momentum Dance Collective. Saturday’s TEDx event will begin promptly at noon and will continue until 7 p.m. Participants can join for the entire day or come and go throughout the day.
